Finance addon bundle

You can add bundle addons to enhance the features of your application. The finance addon bundle is one of them. By installing this addon bundle, your users can use PayPal, Razorpay, Stripe, and Paytm payment gateways to pay any kind of subscription or academic fees to your application.


How to install the addon bundle:

To get the advantage of the payment addons, you have to purchase and install this addon bundle on your application. For this, you have to navigate the simple steps below:

  • Before installing the process, we highly recommend you check your application version. For this, you have to navigate to the "About" option from the "Settings" menu.




  • If you are running the mentioned version, then you are ready to install this addon. 
  • Download the addon you want to install on your application from Codecanyon.
  • Unzip the downloaded file.
  • You will get two folders inside the file. One for documentation and the other for the addon folder. 
  • Do not try to remove or rename any folder.
  • Go back to the application and log in as a superadmin.
  • Select the "Addon" option from the left menu.
  • Click on the "Add new addon" button.




  • Upload the addon zip file and provide the purchase code of the application.
  • Click on the "Install addon" button.
  • You will get a success message notification.


PayPal Payment gateway:

To use the Paypal payment gateways, you have to configure the settings with system currency settings. Also, you have to provide some required information to configure the payment settings. 


Follow the steps to navigate to the payment settings below:

  • Log in to the admin panel.
  • Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
  • Choose the "Payment settings" option from the sub-menu.


You have to configure the system currency to add the PayPal payment gateway. You can set any currency you want. For this, you have to:

  • Set a system currency
  • Set a currency position
  • Click on the "Update system currency" button.

Note: Make sure that your "System currency" and all other gateway currency are the same.


Now you have to provide information to add the payment gateway to the application. For this, you have to provide:

  • Set the activation status of PayPal.
  • Select the mode.
  • Choose a PayPal currency.
  • Provide the client ID. (sandbox)
  • Set the secret key. (sandbox)
  • Provide the secret ID. (production)
  • Choose a secret key. (production)
  • Click on the "Update PayPal" button to save your data.

After configuring the PayPal gateway settings, users can pay any kind of academic or subscription fee through the Paypal payment gateway.


Users can complete the purchase process by providing the required PayPal payment information.


To get the "Client ID" and "Secret key" for your PayPal account, you have to follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to the "PayPal Developers Website" home page.
  • Login to the dashboard.
  • You can also log in with your mobile number using OTP. 
  • Set up the profile.
  • Go to the "Your Name" option. 
  • Go to "Dashboard" in the top right corner. 
  • Click on the "Create App" to create a new app.
  • Provide the details for the new app.
  • Now you can see the PayPal Client Id and secret.


Razorpay Payment gateway:

To use the Razorpay payment gateways, you can configure the settings with system currency settings. Also, you have to provide some required information to configure the payment settings. 


Follow the steps to navigate to the payment settings below:

  • Log in to the admin panel.
  • Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
  • Choose the "Payment settings" option from the sub-menu.


You have to configure the system currency to add the Razorpay payment gateway. You can set any currency you want. For this, you have to:

  • Set a system currency
  • Set a currency position
  • Click on the "Update system currency" button.


Note: Make sure that your "System currency" and all other gateway currency are the same.


Now you have to provide information to add the payment gateway to the application. For this, you have to provide:

  • Set the activation status of the Razorpay payment gateway.
  • Select the mode.
  • Add test public key.
  • Add test secret key.
  • Live public key.
  • Live secret key.
  • Choose a theme color. (You can customize the color)
  • Now, click on the "Update RazorPay" button to update your data.

After configuring the RazorPay gateway settings, users can pay any kind of academic or subscription fee through the RazorPay payment gateway.


Users can complete the purchase process by providing the required RazorPay payment information.


To get the RazorPay keys, you have to follow the steps:

  • Log in to the Dashboard.
  • Select the mode.
  • Go to the "Settings" option.
  • Select the "API keys" option.
  • Click on the "Generate Key" to get your Razorpay payment gateway's keys.  


Stripe Payment gateway:

You can use the Stripe payment gateway for your users in Ekattor 8. For this, you have to configure the settings with system currency settings. Also, you have to provide some required information to configure the payment settings.


Follow the steps to navigate to the payment settings below:

  • Log in to the admin panel.
  • Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
  • Choose the "Payment settings" option from the sub-menu.


You have to configure the system currency to add the Stripe payment gateway. You can set any currency for your application. For this, you have to:

  • Set a system currency
  • Set a currency position
  • Click on the "Update system currency" button.


Note: Make sure that your "System currency" and all other gateway currency are the same.


Now you have to provide information to add the payment gateway to the application. For this, you have to provide:


Provide the required information to add the Stripe payment gateway to your application below:

  • Change the activation status of the Stripe payment gateway
  • Set the mode.
  • Add test public key.
  • Add test secret key.
  • Live public key.
  • Live secret key.
  • Click on the "Update stripe" button to save your information.

After configuring the Stripe gateway settings, users can pay any kind of academic or subscription fee through the Stripe payment gateway.


Users can complete the purchase process by providing the required Stripe payment information.


To get the Stripe API Keys, please follow the steps below:

  • Login to your Stripe dashboard.
  • Navigate to the API option from the left menu.
  • Toggle the option that says "Viewing test data."
  • Click on "Viewing live data."
  • Select the "Reveal live key token" option.
  • Now you can see the Stripe keys.


Paytm Payment gateway:

You can use the Paytm payment gateway for your users in Ekattor 8. For this, you have to configure the settings with system currency settings. Also, you have to provide some required information to configure the payment settings.


Follow the steps to navigate to the payment settings below:

  • Log in to the admin panel.
  • Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
  • Choose the "Payment settings" option from the sub-menu.


You have to configure the system currency to add the Paytm payment gateway. You can set any currency for your application. For this, you have to:

  • Set a system currency
  • Set a currency position
  • Click on the "Update system currency" button.


Note: Make sure that your "System currency" and all other gateway currency are the same.


Now you have to provide information to add the payment gateway to the application. For this, you have to provide:


To configure the Paytm settings from the backend. For this, you have to follow:

  • Log in to the admin panel.
  • Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
  • Select the "Payment settings" option from the sub-menu.
  • Choose the "Paytm settings" option.


Now you have to provide the required information in this settings panel.

  • Set the activation status.
  • Add the mode.
  • Add test merchant ID.
  • Add test merchant Key.
  • Add live merchant ID.
  • Add live merchant Key.
  • Add Environment
  • Provide Merchant_Website and Channel
  • Select the industry type ID.
  • Click on the "Update Paytm" button to save the information.

After configuring the Paytm gateway settings, users can pay any kind of academic or subscription fee through the Paytm payment gateway.


Users can complete the purchase process by providing the required Paytm payment information.


To get the Paytm Keys, please follow the steps below:

  • Login into your merchant dashboard.
  • Click on settings on the left menu.
  • Click on Profile.
  • Click on Account details to see your merchant ID.



Flutterwave Payment Gateway:

You can use the Flutterwave payment gateway for your users in Ekattor 8. For this, you have to configure the settings with system currency settings. Also, you have to provide some required information to configure the payment settings.


Follow the steps to navigate to the payment settings below:

  • Log in to the admin panel.
  • Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
  • Choose the "Payment settings" option from the sub-menu.


You have to configure the system currency to add the Flutterwave payment gateway. You can set any currency for your application. For this, you have to:

  • Set a system currency
  • Set a currency position
  • Click on the "Update system currency" button.


Note: Make sure that your "System currency" and all other gateway currency are the same.


Now you have to provide information to add the payment gateway to the application. For this, you have to provide:

  • Change the activation status of the Flutterwave payment gateway
  • Set your gateway as live or test.
  • Provied Test public and secrect keys.
  • Add Live public, secret, and Encryption keys.
  • Now click on the "Update" button.

Users can pay any type of academic or subscription fee through the Flutterwave payment gateway after configuring the Flutterwave gateway settings.


To get the Flutterwave Keys, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to the official site of Flutterwave. (https://app.flutterwave.com)
  • Create or log in to the account in Flutterwave.
  • Navigate to the Dashboard.
  • Select the "Settings" option.
  • Tap on the "App keys" option.
  • Now you can see your Test and Live keys.
